This is true that you can do so but a whole other debate whether you should do it or not.

Businesses even the smaller ones a spending huge amounts of money on designing different things such as a logo design and website design. But when it comes to creating office stationary they are relying on the pre made templates that come bundled with their desktop publishing suite like MS office.

Why it is important to hire Professional Logo and Web Design Services

The purpose of the technology is to make complex tasks easier for people who use that technology. There is a slight learning curve in whatever new technology you adapt. But today's personal computing has made it very easy for people to adapt new applications and run them. This has made personal desktop publishing very easy for common people. Today you can create a website, edit your photos, draw your own illustrations using these simple desktop tools. The question is if you can do all this on your own then why you should hire a professional to do that for you?

Specially small businesses who are just starting with limited resources find the idea of creating their own publishing material tempting. It can surely save you money for the time being but in the long run it is a very bad idea to do things on your own unless you are a web designer or have formal training in graphic design.

You should hire a professional logo design and web design service to create your business logo and web design. First of all a design is a plan, it is called design because it serves a purpose to achieve some goals. Professionals know what they are doing and how to achieve these goals. With their formal training in design they understand what works best. An amateur designer can not understand why some designs that work really good for others may not work for them.

Secondly, a business needs to be treated like a business and not like a charitable organization. Professional design makes your publishing material, your website and logo look good. This conveys a very positive message to your potential customers and business alliances that you are a serious business that is going to be here for a long time and they can trust on you.

Regional Logo Designs

We are all proud of the places we have lived in and the towns we grew up in. This proud thing is a sentimental attachment that can be well used in marketing and branding of your business or products. Some businesses have successfully used these sentiments by placing the name of their city in their business name or their product name.

When it comes to logo design and marketing, using your regional base as a proud symbol is a very effective marketing technique. In cities where businesses rely heavily on the tourists from other towns and countries, this could attract lots of new buyers.

You can use this in your logo design by adding a famous landmark's illustration into your logo. For example people in NYC can add statue of liberty to their logo design. Below are some examples of how people have used the regional association into their logo designs to attract customers:

Web Design for Search Engines

Google Classic: Please Allow 30 Days for your Search Results

Search engines are an important and sometimes almost crucially essential source of traffic for many websites. It is becoming difficult for web developers to keep a balance between a user friendly web design and a search engine friendly web design. This key of keeping the balance, guarantees the success of a website in terms of achieving its goals. For many business website clients this goal is to bring more traffic and then ultimately more conversion into satisfied customers.

When designing a search engine friendly website there are a few simple things that can make a website not only search engine friendly but also make them more user centric.

1. Information Rich Quality Content

Web is all about the free content and information that it offers. To make your website more appealing to actual human surfers as well as the search engines it is essential that you offer high quality content on the website. Though, generating content for a website does not come under the job of a website designer. But a good website design can make room for quality content to be presented in a searchable format.

2. Define Your Content

Search engines as well as humans love organized content. This makes browsing easier for human readers and makes it easier for search engines to categorize the content and understand the context. This goal can be achieved by placing right TITLE for each web page created. Also using the headings for different sections of a webpage and using ALT tags for image can define the content to both search engines and human readers.

3. Keep Clutter Away

Search engines use spiders or automated bots to read and index your content. These bots cant actually see how visually pleasant your web design actually is. This leads many web developers to believe that they can create as much mess as they want in order to get more search engine juice. However this totally destroys the balance that you might want to achieve by making your website useful for actual human visitors too. In fact, search engines can sometimes detect bad navigation and poor design techniques and often display better designed websites on top of their results. So keeping your design lean and clean pays off both ways.

Some Pizza Logo Designs

Bruno's Pizzeria sports a very attractive logo design with a cartoon character of a pizza chef. The chef's black hair and mustache and facial features suggest that he is Italian and the red colors represent spiciness.

This logo design for Eastside Pizza and Pub looks very Urban and trendy. Again the red color is used to display the rich taste and flavor or pizza and a foamy mug of beer to highlight the pub part of the business.

Ecco la Pizza is a mobile pizzeria their logo design has bright yello orange and red colors.

This is the logo design for San Jose Pizza, again notice the prominent red color and the steam above the pizza suggesting that it is oven hot. However I can not understand why the pizza is placed on a shield?

Note: all logo design presented above are protected by copyright which belongs to their respective owner displayed here in terms of fair use.

Logo Design - The quality issue

Each and every business has a logo now days. Sometimes you would see caricature of a chicken washing smiling at you and when you read below you find out that the chicken was actually the brand logo of an industrial detergent. Now your mind wanders about the possible relationship between the brand of an industrial detergent and the chicken.

Brand identity is a vast feild. There are even researchers at universities like Harvard and Yale who study these subjects religiously. One thing every one agrees upon is that a good logo design has the single most crucial role in the entire brand identity scheme.

But then what is a good logo design? What are the characterstics of it and hwo do you recognize it?

lets go back to the example we discussed in the beginning of the post. The chicken representing a detergent powder. When your mind wandered you looked for more clues and you found out that the detergent is actually called Chickly-Chick  detergent powder. Now you understand the relationship between the character of the logo and the product or the brand it is representing. So basically it was a good logo, because it gives the viewer the impression that directly represents the name of their product. This chicken on their logo is so freakishly happy that it would be hard for viewers not to love her and remember her next time they go shopping for detergent.

Good logo design is affordable, attractive, memorable, concise and meaningful.
